Detailed Description
[main component] carbamoylcholine chloride
[properties] this product is colorless and clear liquid.
[pharmacological action] this product can excite M-cholinergic receptor, but has little effect on n-cholinergic receptor. It is characterized by high selectivity to gastrointestinal and bladder smooth muscle, significant contraction of gastrointestinal and bladder smooth muscle, and weak effect on cardiovascular system. Because it is not easy to be hydrolyzed by cholinesterase in vivo, it has a lasting effect.
[function and use] cholinergic drug. It is mainly used for gastrointestinal relaxation, as well as bladder retention, retained placenta and pyometra.
[usage and dosage] subcutaneous injection: one dose, 0.02-0.04ml per 1kg body weight of horses and cattle; 0.1-0.2 ml for dogs and cats.
[adverse reactions] large doses can cause vomiting, diarrhea, asthma and dyspnea.
[precautions]
(1) Animals and pregnant animals with complete intestinal obstruction or traumatic reticulogastritis are prohibited.
(2) Atropine can be used for rescue in case of overdose poisoning.
[drug withdrawal period] need not be formulated.
