[properties] this product is colorless and clear liquid.
[pharmacological action] intravenous injection of this product can increase na+in blood Cl-， It plays an important role in regulating osmotic pressure, maintaining electrolyte balance and neuromuscular excitability, and can improve rumen motility and promote peristalsis.
[function and use] rumen stimulant. It is used for ruminant proventriculus relaxation and equine constipation.
[usage and dosage] intravenous injection: 1 ml per 1kg body weight of livestock.
[adverse reactions]
(1) Too much and too fast infusion can cause water and sodium retention, edema, elevated blood pressure and accelerated heart rate.
(2) Excessive use can cause hypernatremia.
[precautions]
(1) It is forbidden for animals with pulmonary edema. Animals with brain, kidney and heart dysfunction and low plasma protein should be used with caution.
(2) The concentration of chloride ion contained in this product is higher than that in plasma, and acidosis has occurred in animals. If widely used, it can cause hyperchlorinated acidosis. At this time, sodium bicarbonate and normal saline can be used.
