Pharmacodynamics aminopyrine is a kind of cyclooxygenase inhibitor, which inhibits the conversion of prostaglandin precursor arachidonic acid to prostaglandins by inhibiting the activity of cyclooxygenase, so as to reduce the synthesis of prostaglandins, and then produce antipyretic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti rheumatic effects. Combined with barbiturates can enhance the analgesic effect.
Pharmacokinetics the product is rapidly absorbed after oral administration, mainly metabolized in the liver, demethylated to form 4-aminoantipyrine, and further acetylated to inactive n-acetyl-4-aminoantipyrine; It is not acetylated in horses and mainly produces 4-methylaminoantipyrine. Metabolites are excreted in urine as prototypes or in combination with glucuronic acid and sulfuric acid. The half-life is 1-4 hours.
