Detailed Description
【Main components】Lincomycin hydrochloride
【Appearance】This product is a colorless to slightly yellow or yellowish-green clear liquid.
【Pharmacological action】
Pharmacodynamics: Lincomycin is a lincomycin antibiotic, a bacteriostatic agent. Sensitive bacteria include Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillin-resistant strains), Streptococcus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Bacillus anthracis, Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, some mycoplasmas (Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Mycoplasma synoviae), Leptospira and anaerobic bacteria (such as Fusobacterium, Clostridium tetani, Clostridium perfringens and Actinomyces, etc.). It mainly acts on the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosomes, inhibiting protein synthesis by inhibiting peptide chain elongation and exerting antibacterial effects.
Pharmacokinetics: After intramuscular injection, it is rapidly absorbed. In pigs, a single intramuscular injection of 11 mg/kg resulted in a peak blood concentration of 6.25 μg/ml. The plasma protein binding rate is 57%~72%. It is widely distributed in the body, with an apparent distribution volume of 2.8 L/kg in pigs. It is widely distributed to various body fluids and tissues (including bones), with the highest concentrations in the liver and kidneys, and tissue drug concentrations several times higher than serum concentrations at the same time. It can enter the placenta, but it is not easily permeable to the blood-brain barrier, and it is difficult to reach effective concentrations in cerebrospinal fluid during inflammation. It can be distributed to milk, and the concentration in milk is the same as that in plasma. Part of the drug is metabolized in the liver, and the metabolites are excreted in bile, urine and milk. Excretion in feces can be delayed for several days, so it has an inhibitory effect on intestinal sensitive microorganisms.
【Drug interactions】
(1) When used with gentamicin, etc., it has a synergistic effect on Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus and Streptococcus.
(2) When used with aminoglycosides and polypeptide antibiotics, it may enhance the blocking effect on neuromuscular junctions. When used with erythromycin, there is an antagonistic effect, because the sites of action are the same, and erythromycin has a stronger affinity for the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosomes than this product.
(3) It should not be used with antidiarrheal drugs that inhibit intestinal motility and contain white clay.
(4) There are compatibility contraindications with kanamycin, neomycin, etc.
【Actions and uses】Lincomycin antibiotics. Used for Gram-positive bacterial infections, and can also be used for swine spirochetosis and mycoplasma infections.
【Dosage and administration】Intramuscular injection: Single dose, per 1 kg body weight, pigs 0.033 ml, once a day; dogs and cats 0.033 ml, twice a day, for 3~5 consecutive days.
【Adverse reactions】It has neuromuscular blocking effects.
【Precautions】Intramuscular injection may cause transient diarrhea or loose stools. Although rare, if it occurs, necessary measures should be taken to prevent dehydration.
【Withdrawal period】Pigs 2 days.
